Details

KINGS NYMPTON KINGS NYMPTON SS 61 3/162 Cottage approximately 10 metres east of the Firs GV II Cottage. Probably late C18. Painted rough-cast rendered stone rubble and cob. Bitumenized slate roof, hipped at right end and rendered stack at left end. Plan: small single room plan cottage with entrance passage at right end. C20 leanto at right end. The cottage may have originally extended further at the left end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Single 3-light casements 3 panes per light on each floor. Early C20 porch with gabled slate roof. Interior: much altered in C20.
