WEST CHELBOROUGH ST 50 NW WEST CHELBOROUGH HAMLET 1/137 Manor Farmhouse 4.12.51 GV II Detached Farmhouse. C16 core to west range, refashioned in C18. C17 east range. Rubble-stone walls and ashlar quoins. Slate roof with stone slate eaves, and concrete tile roofs, with gable-end at right hand end, and hipped to front. Brick stacks on gable ends and on rear gable. Two storeys. Two windows to west range, return, two windows to east range. West range has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullions with separate labels. East range has 2- and 3-light windows of same type. Iron and C20 metal casements with lead lights. Return range C18 sashes with glazing-bars. Stone porch at centre of west range, ashlar with stone gable-coping and gabled slate roof. Plank door with strap-hinges, mid C19. Left hand end has C19 dairy and cheese-loft, rubble stone and slate roof. Brick porch and plank door within. Interior: west range has a 16-compartmented ceiling with moulded beams, C16.
