4/277 Hooper monument about 3 yards south of the westernmost of the range of 3 lancets of the south aisle of the Church of St George

GV II

Chest tomb for William Hooper, died 1820. Finely cut sandstone. Moulded flat capping, corner pilasters with recessed trefoil-headed panels to side faces. One of a group of four chest tombs, the others being for Barrett (qv), Burrup (qv) and John Wheeler (qv).
