Details
GWINEAR-GWITHIAN WALL SW 63 NW 5/53 Parc Tye - GV II
House. Circa mid C19. Granite and killas rubble with granite dressings. Hipped grouted scantle slate roofs with projecting eaves. Brick chimneys over the side walls. Plan: Single depth plan house with 2 equal reception rooms flanking an entrance hall on the left and villa-style single storey sun room adjoining on the right. C20 extension at rear middle possibly replacing original service wing. At the rear right-hand corner of the single storey part is a round projection, possibly a chimney breast. Exterior: 2 storeys plus single storey wing right. Plinth, ground floor sill band and architraves and string. Keyed flat arches over the windows of the single storey wing. South east front with symmetrical 3 window front, left with central doorway and single storeys 2 window front set back slightly on right. 4-panel door with later glazed-top panels, 12-pane sashes. Original sashes to single storey part, otherwise horned copies. Interior: not inspected.
