rear additions. Timber-framed, plastered and brick, peg-tiled
and slate roofs, red brick stacks. Rectangular plan. 2
storeys. Front W elevation: No.7 (S) 3 window range, all C20
sliding sashes, ground floor, 4x4 panes, first floor 4x3
panes. Central C19 doorway simple flat cornice hood, plain
jambs and frieze, 4-panelled door. No.9 (N) 2 window range,
slightly taller than No.7. Windows all C18 sliding sashes, 4x3
panes. Central simple doorway with weathering board,
continuous with windows each side, C20 door with upper glazing
2x3 panes and lower panel. Ridge stack at N end. Rear E
elevation: both houses have full length 2-storey slated
secondary out-shuts of brick with plastered timber framing
above, refurbished in C20. No.7, 2 big lateral stacks between
addition and house. Ground floor has further porch parallel
with house and long 4x8 paned sliding sash window to S. First
floor, 3 similar 4x4 paned sliding sash windows. No.9, ground
floor, central door with 3x4 upper glazing, single 2-light
casement each side, one (N) with glazing bars 4x3 panes. First
floor has large dropped flat-roofed dormer window of 4
casement lights, glazing bars, 8x4 panes. S end elevation: red
brick front wall framing slightly exposed. Brickwork to rear
lean-to of deeper hue, than front section.
