Probably C17 in origin. L-shaped. 2 storeys, upper of which projects to left. Tile roof. Flints. 2 flat arched windows, sashes, glazing bars. Plain flat arched door. Right hand section, hipped roof, upper storey rendered and bargeboards.

Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, Post Office, Pelham Cottage, Nos 122, 124 and 126, and Nos 1-4 Malthouse Cottages form a group.
