House. c1800, with small C20 addition. Red brick with some burnt headers, peg-tiled roof. L shaped plan of 2 parallel blocks to road plus rear wing. 2 storeys and cellar. Front E elevation: 3 window range, end ridge stacks. Central doorway, flat composition hood on similar simple consoles, 4 panelled door, narrow sash window each side 1x2 panes, rest of windows (5) sashes with glazing bars, 3x4 panes, ground floor segment headed. Basement window with grille to N of doorway, blocked window to S. Rear W elevation: gable end rear wing with first floor blocked window. To S, set back, rear road range, ground floor C20 3-light casement window and side of C20 lean-to brick porch. First floor, sash windows, one 3x4 one 4x4 panes. Stack at S end. S side elevation: 2 gabled ends of `double pile' each with central exterior stack. E block, ground and first floor casement window. W block, narrow C20 fixed light. To W, side of rear wing, ground floor C20 lean-to has arched entry head to inner C19 door of 4 bead-moulded panels. Adjacent 2-light casement window. First floor, 4x4 paned sash window. Wing stack at W end ridge. N side elevation: long range of front block gable end with rear wing to W. 3 stacks, E gable apex, central to rear wing (through roof pitch), W ridge stack. Windows and doorway segment headed. Ground floor, 2 sash windows, 3x4 panes, one 4x4 panes. C20 fully glazed door and side light. Outline of blocked doorway to W. First floor, 4 sash windows, 3x4 panes. Several windows of the house have stone sills. INTERIOR: essentially plain. Several ceiling joists now exposed.
