House. Early C19, with extensive C20 additions. Approx 40m N of street and facing N between No.69 (qv) and Methodist Church (qv). Brick, rendered and colourwashed, slate roof. Plan irregular U shape with original rectangular house plus extensive C20 rear additions on S side. 2 storeys and basement. Front, N elevation: 3 bays, steps up to central doorway in arch headed recess, frame moulded, round headed overlight with ornate glazing bars, door C20 boarded and battened, recessed round headed window each side, sashes with glazing bars, radial at head, 3x3 panes plus radial panes. Basement, segment headed window below sashes 3x2 panes. First floor, 3 similar sash windows 4x3 panes, roof fully hipped with deep eaves, rendered stack in each side roof pitch. E end elevation: original block red brick with scored pointing, stack through roof in centre. Windows C20 with glazing bars, ground floor, single 4x4 panes sash, first floor two 2-light casements 4x2 panes. W end elevation: similar to E end but with C20 red brick slated ground floor lean-to at S end with 2x4 paned casement window in N end possibly of C19 origin as rear W wall partly of brick with flint cobble panels. N end, fully glazed doorway, 3x6 panes. First floor, 1 single-light and one 2-light casement window. Rear, S elevation: ground floor obscured by C20 addition of lean-to conservatory to E and long room with 3-cant bay window to W. First floor of old house, 3 similar segment headed windows with glazing bars, 3x4 panes.
