Terrace of houses including old police station. Dated 1880. Red brick in Flemish bond, green slate roofs. 2 reflected pairs. 2 storeys; each house with 2 windows to each floor. Chamfered ashlar plinth band; ashlar band projects on brackets to form sills of paired sashes in moulded brick surrounds under continuous hoodmould. The hoodmould arches over paired doorways of Nos 119 with 117 and 115 with 113; No.115 retains old 4-panelled door with plain overlight. Recessed herringbone panels above the windows; the panel to No.115 with encaustic tiling which reads 'POLICE STATION AD/ 1880'. 1st floor: windows as ground floor but without sill blocks or hoods. Vitruvian scroll and modillions beneath cast-iron ogee gutter. Brick stacks to centre and each end have offsets and dentilled caps (right end stack renewed); crested ridge tiles. No.119 now has uPVC door and windows.
