GV II

Two houses, now offices. Early C19, possibly with C18 origins; C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered at front and back, with left and right gable walls of pink and cream mottled brick; moulded eaves cornice of timber at front, and of pulvinated stone at rear; brick stacks at each end and at right of centre of pantile roof. 3-storey 4-window front. To left side, No.7 has C20 double shop front with recessed door between plate glass windows. Plain passage entrance to right of centre with door of raised-and-fielded panels beneath blocked overlight. Further right, No.9 has door of 6 raised-and-fielded panels beside C20 window at right end. First floor windows are top-hung to No.7 and single-pane sashes to No.9; on second floor, windows are unequal 9-pane sashes. All windows except those on ground floor to No.7 have stone sills and plain lintels. Rear: 9-pane sash window with cambered arch, on second floor. Heavy pulvinated eaves cornice.
