Bank, now offices. Early C19, refronted mid C19. Orange-red
brick in English garden-wall bond at rear and left side;
refronted in ashlar; right side of coursed dressed stone.
Slate roof with brick and stone stacks, and stone coping and
shaped kneelers at rear. Cast-iron railings. Central-entry
plan. 3-storey 3-bay front. Centre bay rusticated between
projecting square end bays. 6 steps up to panelled door with
radial fanlight, and former second doorway, now blocked by
round-headed margin-glazed window with stone sill. End bays
contain similar paired windows over sillband, and all openings
have keyed round-arched architraves. Moulded corbel cornice
and plain parapet on grooved volutes over ground-floor bays.
First-floor windows are tall large-pane sashes in plain
surrounds beneath moulded corbel cornice hoods on grooved
volutes. On second floor, windows are squat, segment- arched
4-pane sashes in keyed eared architraves, over raised sillband
on block brackets. Moulded corbelled eaves cornice beneath
plain parapet with moulded coping. Railings: ramped-up, and
wreathed at foot, with open spear tip finials.
