CROSTHWAITE AND LYTH LYTH SD 48 NE 4/19 Barn immediately to north of Flodder Hall (q.v.) G.V. II

Bank barn. Probably C18 or early C19. Stone rubble with slate roof. South elevation has outshut to east end with lean-to roof. Central barn entrance with pentice and pivoted doors. West end has steps to 1st floor entrance. West gable end has pentice over segmental-headed entrance with flanking windows; ventilation slots to gable. North elevation has large later lean-to outshut. East gable end has large entrance under pentice to lower level due to slope of ground, and ventilation slots and square holes. Collar and tie beam trusses.
