Town house, now shop/dwellings. c1600 with front rebuilt c1900 replacing c1800 front. Timber-frame with plaster infill and brick; tile roof with brick end stack. 2 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range. Attic jettied, with 2 gables. C20 shop front with side entrance to left end. 1st floor has wooden ovolo-mullioned and transomed oriels; similar projecting cross-mullioned windows to attic; all with leaded glazing. Square framing with ovolo-moulded members. Large mid to late C19 brick rear wing (Mercer's Croft) with casement windows.
