SANDWELL MB WALSALL CANAL, GREAT BRIDGE SO 99 SE 4/154 Fifth lock from bottom, Ryder's Green Locks (approx 330 m NW of Ryder's Green Road)

Fifth lock of flight of eight on Walsall Canal. Completed 1786. Blue brick, with sandstone kerbs to chambers now partly replaced by concrete. Single gates. Cast iron sluice gear on each bank of the upstream side.
