7/66 The Old Vicarage
and adjoining out-
building G.V. II Vicarage, now house. c.1830. Brick with coursed rubble plinth
to rear wing. Hipped and gabled slate roofs. Rebated eaves.
Single ridge, gable and side wall stacks. 2 and 3 storeys, 4
bays. Square plan. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes with
splayed rusticated lintels. Front has off-centre moulded
doorcase, panelled door and overlight. To left, 2 and to right
single sashes. Above, 4 sashes. North west side has to left,
C20 door flanked by single casements. Above, and above again, 2
sashes with segmental heads. To right, a single sash on each
floor. South east side has to left, 2 sashes, and above, blocked
opening and a sash. Rear wing, to right, has a sash with
segmental head flanked by single doors, that to left with
segmental head. To right again, a sash. Above, and above again,
2 sashes with segmental heads on each floor. Adjoining single
storey outbuilding, brick with slate roof, single storey, 2 bays,
has porch with hood on brackets. 2 doors and a casement.
