LOWER STREET 1. 5393 (North Side) Anchor Cottage SU 9032 NW 3/117 II 2. Late C17 or early C18. Formerly an inn. Two storeys, 3 windows. (First floor centre window blocked but for small light). Painted brick with 1st floor string. Fairly high pitched roof, with end chimneys, renewed in machine tiles. Large modern 3-light windows and half-glazed central door under cornice. Some visible timber framing in attic gable end. Included partly for group value.
