GV II

Farmhouse, now house, and adjoining boundary wall, stables, coach house and barn. Late C19 and early C19, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone, partly pebbledashed, and brick, with ashlar dressings and stone slate and corrugated asbestos roofs, with 2 coped stone gable stacks and single gable and ridge stacks. Quoins. EXTERIOR: house, 2 storeys; 3 window range. Three C19 2-light casements and below, pilaster doorcase with cornice and C20 glazed door with overlight, flanked by single C19 French windows. Boundary wall, to left, approx 100m long, has ramped half-round coping and beside the house, a plank door with stone jambs and lintel. Stables and coach house, to north, 2 storeys; 6 window range. Off-centre pair of close boarded doors reached by a stone stair, flanked by single 2-light glazing bar casements. Beyond, to left, a smaller casement, and to right, a larger renewed casement. Below the stair, 2 small casements and to their left a door flanked by a 3-light casement to left and a slatted casement to right. To their right, 2 doors and beyond, a small casement, then 2 altered carriage openings with double doors. Barn to east, 2 storeys, has asbestos cement roof. To left, 2 garage doors and to their right, a small casement flanked to left by a door and to right by a segment-headed double door. To right again, a lean-to brick addition with stone slate roof. Single plain and glazing bar sashes, and to right, a small casement. Barn left gable has a loft door and several triangular breathers. INTERIOR not inspected.
