Farmhouse and adjoining barn and stables under continuous roof, now house. Late C16, with early C17 addition, restored late C20. Cruck frame and coursed squared stone, mainly whitewashed, with stone dressings and stone slate and concrete tile roofs. 2 rendered brick ridge stacks. T-plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 5 window range. Main range has a central stone sundial, flanked to right by a small window, then two C20 3-light casements. To left, a similar window, then a C19 3-light glazing bar casement and a small single window. Central C20 board double door, flanked to right by a square light and a 3-light casement, and to left by another 3 light casement. All these openings have late C20 glazing and stone lintels. To left again, a C19 3-light glazing bar casement, then a door, both with stone lintels. C17 cross-wing, to left, has quoins. On each floor, a reduced opening with stone lintel and C20 2-light casement. Left return has 2 similar casements. At the rear, in the return angle, a single storey lean-to projection with C20 half-glazed door and small window. To its left, a C20 casement on each floor, then, between floors, a square unglazed opening with wooden mullions. To left, irregular C20 fenestration. INTERIOR has in the main range 2 pairs of crucks, one pair with tie beam and collar. Principal rafter roof with renewed wind braces to butt purlin. Remains of severed tie beam. Plain painted stone central fireplace with chamfered surround. Wing has heavy principal rafter roof with single purlins. Central early C17 moulded stone fireplace, with C17 style carving executed c1945. Front ground floor room has reused spine beam. Smaller rear room has chamfered spine beam and joists.
