2. Former coach-house and service quarters to the Tower Bungalows. 1881-82 by John Pollard Seddon; sgraffito panels by George Frampton. Yellow brick ground floor with red brick string. Timber framed sgraffito panels on upper floor. Hipped roof of original self-locking tiles with end finials. Windows with small upper panes. N and S end elevations each with a centre three-light window above, with flanking sgraffito panels, at S. end above a later C20 three-light window, and at N end above a modern flat-roofed extension. W. elevation with twelve sgraffito panels framing two two-light, a three-light and a single-light windows; original ground floor openings concealed partly by a later lean-to enclosing two windows and a porch, and by a later bay window to south. Unfenestrated rear elevation with a continuous strip of sgraffito panels above the ground floor. See Anthony D. King, The Bungalow, 1984.
