FORE STREET 1. 5411 (North West Side) Corner block of former Usher's Brewery between Nos 68 and 70 ST 8558 4/263 II GV

2. 1915 Brewer's Baroque by W. W. Snailum. Corner pavilion to large brewery jutting out slightly. Ashlar built with ornate pedimented fronts of 1 bay to south and west. Pedimented breaks to south and west with rustic quoins capped by fluted brackets to corner bands and supporting paired rustic pilasters having fruit and flower sculpture. Modillion cornice and open pediments. Blind keyed oculus to each pediment with flanking fruit and flower carving swagged across top of giant architrave to 1st and 2nd floor windows. Pitched path pavement from here to No 8 Wicker Hill. Listed for group value.

Nos 65 to 68 (consec), Nos 70 to 73 (consec), railings and gates to Nos 68 and 70, dwarf stone wall to No 72, No 64 (Lloyds Bank) and Usher's Brewery Corner Block, form an outstanding group with No 8 and premises occupied by K.J. Lestor to south west of No 8 Wicker Hill.
