BALLINGHAM CP SO 53 SE 2/2 Churchyard cross and sundial about 10 yards south of the easternmost window of the south side of the nave of the Church of St Dubricius

GV II

Base of churchyard cross. Possibly C14, restored in late C19 or early C20. Sandstone rubble and dressed sandstone. Three square steps with truncated octagonal shaft and moulded top, surmounted by C18 copper sundial inscribed "N Witham, LONDINI, Fecit". (RCHM Vol I, p 21).
