Row of 5 town houses, now partly commercial. Late C18
or early C19, altered. Brown brick in Flemish bond, slate
roof. Double-depth plan, each house single-fronted, with
individual back extensions. Three storeys over basements,
2+2+2+2+3 windows; doorways to the left except No. 77 which is
to the right, all round-headed with open-pedimented Tuscan
doorcases, those at Nos. 75 and 77 with fluted entablatures,
and semi-circular fanlights with radiating glazing bars
(except at No.75 which is plain, and No. 77 where the whole
doorway is now blocked with concrete blocks); one window to
the basement, 2 to each floor above except No.75 which has 3
at 2nd floor and No.77 which has 3 at 1st floor, all
segmental-headed except at 2nd floor, and all with raised
sills, those at 1st and 2nd floors of Nos. 69, 71 and 73
furnished with 4-pane sashes but all the others with altered
glazing. Dentilled and modillioned wooden eaves to Nos 69-73
(damaged at time of survey). Four ridge chimney stacks.
Connected to rear is No.10 Bradley Street, a 3-storey,
5-window, range of cross windows and casements under brick
segmental arches. Doors and windows to ground floor partly
blocked. Adjoins and forms group with Nos 4, 6 and 8 Bradley
Street (q.v.).
