ASHTON UNDER HILL CP ELMLEY ROAD (east side) SO 9837 - 9937 Outbuilding about 2 yards 11/30 south of Thatch End GV II

Outbuiding Circa 1600 Timber-framed with rendered infill and some weather- boarding on limestone rubble base and with hipped thatched roof. Single framed bay aligned north/south. Single storey. Framing: two panels from sill to wall-plate. Main entrance with C19 door in west elevation. Square window in east elevation. Interior not inspected. An unusual, complete and very small timber-framed structure situated adjacent to Thatch End (qv). Included for group value.
