2/8 Base of cross shaft in the church- yard of the Church of St. John the Baptist c4m south of south aisle

GV II

Base for cross shaft, probably medieval in date. Limestone. Large square base with smaller square shaft base at centre. Hollow moulding around upper edge of cross base, corners cut away. Early C20 war memorial cross at centre. Remnants of original cross shaft inside church.
