Church Farm
G.V. II
Stable range. C17, altered and extended mid C19. Squared
limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Pantile
roofs. L-plan. 2 storey, 10 bay front, the left-hand 3 bays are
advanced and separately gabled and contain central planked door
flanked by single semi-circular headed openings containing cast
iron ventilators. Above a 4 light chamfer mullioned window with
cornice. Reset to the left hand kneeler stone a sundial dated
1776 WR. To the right hand wing are 3 planked doors and 3 lights
with lower cast iron ventilator panels. All having segmental
stone heads. To first floor a single fixed glazing bar light in
chamfered stone surround. Between fifth and sixth bay quoins
mark the extent of the original build. The left hand side has
single storey pent loose boxes in front with to right a planked
door. To left a 2 light sliding glazing bar sash. Included for
group value only.
