GV II

Lodge. 1818. Architect Charles Harcourt Masters. Ashlar, rendered North elevation, pyramid slate roof concealed behind moulded parapet. Greek Revival style. Single storey. Entrance front faces East, canted bay with central Tuscan porch, pediment and 4 panelled curved door flanked by glazing bar sashes. Angled projections between the curved bays with empty niches and labels above; canted bays face North and South, with glazing bar sashes, all curved. North front in-fact has 2 canted bays separated by empty niches with random rubble service wing attached to North-west. Cothelstone House was demolished in the 1960s.
