Kyre Garden and gardener's cottage about 100 yards south-west of Kyre Park

Walled garden and gardener's house. Mid-C18 with mid-C20 alterations. Hand-
made brick including brick copings. Wall is about 12 feet high and encloses
an area of about 120 by 50 yards. There are brick pilaster buttresses at
approximately 12 yard intervals and gateways with cambered heads at the centre
of the north and south walls. An additional entrance is situated to the north-
east. The gardener's cottage is situated in the north-west corner. Brick with
a plain tiled roof and gable-end parapets. There are two brick stacks on the
north side of the ridge. Two-bay rectangular plan. Two storeys with dentilled
eaves cornice. Main east end elevation: there is a half-glazed door and a
first floor 12-pane sash; both have cambered heads. A C20 wing projects to the
south. This has a ground floor 2-light casement with a cambered head, a first
floor 12-pane sash and, beneath the same cambered head on the ground floor, a
single-light casement and a half-glazed door.
