CLARENDON PARK CLARENDON PARK SU 13 SE 6/50 Queen Manor Farmhouse with attached larder wing II

Farmhouse. Late C17. Ashlar limestone with tiled roof. Two storeys and attic, symmetrical plan with central stair hall and roof swept down over narrow service passage at rear. Central 4- panelled door with 3-light overlight, and plate glass sash windows. Two hipped casement dormers. Gable stack. Added in late C17 a single storey and attic service wing to rear, stone quoins, possibly taken from Clarendon Palace (q.v.). Large flush dormer and tall brick stack. Attached to wing a small extension also with stone quoins and possibly originally a larder, now converted. Interior: Stair altered, C17 with block newel. C18 fire surround to left room.
