Former barn, stables and cowsheds, now a house. Early C18, C19 and C20, converted to a house c.1980. Timber frame, with rendered nogging, and brick, with plain tile and corrugated asbestos roofs. Dentillated eaves to north range, single brick ridge stack. 2 storeys, 6 unequal bays. L-plan. The windows are mainly squat C20 glazing bar casements. East entrance front has an off-centre plank door flanked to left by a 2 light C20 sliding sash, and to right by a small fixed light and a 2 light casement. Above the door, a former doorway containing a 2 light casement and with a plank shutter. To its left, a small casement. Adjoining gabled range to left has a pair of garage doors. The north gable has a 2 light casement on each floor. The north side, to right, has a brick plinth and a timber framed first floor. To the right, a small casement on each floor. The west gable has a 3 light casement above. The south side of the north range is rendered and has false timber framing. To the left, a C20 lean-to bay window with a 2 light casement. To the right, a small casement and a large C19 glazing bar sash. Beyond, a lean-to addition in the return angle, with a C20 bow window. Above, to the left, 2 small C19 casements. In the return angle, to west, a large C20 glazing bar casement with segmental head, and above it a former loading door with a 2 light casement. To the right, a small casement. Beyond, to right, a C20 single storey range with an off-centre blocked door containing a 3 light casement, flanked by single 4 light casements. Beyond, to left, a wide close boarded door. Beyond, to right, a larger 3 light casement. to right again, a single storey gabled wing. In the return angle, a rendered buttress flanked to left by a small casement and to right by a C19 half glazed door. The west gable has a 2 light casement. Included for group value only.
