SD 75 SE

4/64 Hungrill Farmhouse 16.11.1954 - II House, late Cl7th, reduced in size, and extended Cl9th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. 3 storeys. East front has windows with inner ovolo moulding and outer chamfer. On the ground floor is a mullioned and transomed window with hood, now of 8 lights, with 2 lights covered by a single-storey gabled porch to the left. On the 1st floor is a 5-light mullioned window with hood. Above is a 2-light mullioned window. The porch has a door with plain stone surround in its left hand return wall. To the right is a gable chimney, with a lower 2-storey portion of Cl9th date beyond to the north. It has a window with plain stone surround and glazing bars on the 1st floor and a door with plain stone surround on the ground floor. The southern gable of the house has windows with inner hollow chamfer and outer chamfer. On the ground floor is a 6-light mullioned window with hood to the left, with a blocked opening with hood to the right. On the 1st floor is a former 3-light window with no mullions and with one light blocked to the left, and a 4-light mullioned window to the right, both with hoods. The 2nd floor has a blocked window with hood to the left and a 3-light mullioned window with hood to the right. The gable has a coping. Interior. The north wall of the C17th part of the house has a blocked chamfered fireplace of C17th type, facing north and cut across by a wall of the Cl9th extension, suggesting that the C17th house extended further to the north.
