11/262 Hall monument, in churchyard, about 11.5m south of south-west corner of Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Chest tomb; early 1770's; stone. Flat lid, chamfered edge with wide overhang. Corners quarter-square gadrooned balusters, flowers and leaves on stem. North face fielded panel, south rococo carving around panel with carved heads near ends at top. Rococo carving to ends to frame panel. Panels all curve back at edges to give projection to carving. Commemorates Isaac Hall, died 1771 and his wife, 1773. Later inscriptions, including on lid.
