MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, rubble to rear, slate roof.
PLAN: Double depth plan, property abuts north end of Norfolk Crescent (qv), and may formerly have been two houses, bridge across area to right.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic, and basement, developed as full four storeys to rear with fall in site, three windows. Central twelve-pane and flanking paired twelve-pane sash dormers, above twelve-pane sashes, with small four-pane inserted to second floor, small six-pane to first floor, and tall but narrow twelve-pane at ground floor, to right of door, with large tripartite sash to basement area, left, and louvered opening, right. Central six-panel door in reeded architrave and with dentil moulded flat hood on tall scroll consoles. Plinth, first floor platband, moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet, coped party divisions to mansard roof, deep ashlar stacks. To left straight joint with adjacent No.18 (qv). Rear has twelve-pane and triple twelve-pane dormer above various sashes, including, left, very long thirty-six-pane stair window, in four full storeys, deep stacks at each end.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
