Halesowen Abbey and its environs

Author(s): Graham Brown

English Heritage Archaeological investigation team based at Swindon undertook an investigation and analytical survey of the earthworks at Halesowen Abbey in the West Midlands. The primary aim of our work was to enhance the understanding of the abbey and its environs; the abbey was also considered for inclusion in the programme of pilot projects for the Heritage Protection Review and the evidence from our fieldwork will be an important component of the programme and inform the management of the site and its wider landscape.
