Bellshiel Law Long Cairn

Author(s): David McOmish, Cathy Tuck

The field investigation was undertaken by David McOmish and Cathy Tuck during winter 2002 and 2003. The measured survey of the Belishiel Law long cairn was carried out entirely digitally by using a Leica T805 Electronic Theodolite with integral Electromagnetic Distance Measurement (EDM) from a baseline traverse of two stations. The resulting plan was plotted at 1:500 scale via Key Terrafirma, AutoCAD, CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator software.
