NON-FERROUS METAL WORKING DEBRIS FROM YARNTON WORTON RECTORY FARM, OXON

All but one of the ten crucible sherds and a fragment of copper-rich hearth lining came from Middle Iron Age contexts. The metal melted was bronze (copper + tin). The few finds from later contexts provided no evidence of non-ferrous metal working.
