Wyeford Farm, Pamber, Hampshire: Level 2 archaeological survey

Author(s): Mark Bowden

In December 2002 English Heritage undertook a Level 2 archaeological investigation and analytical field survey of earthworks surrounding Wyeford Farm in order to inform conservation and management needs but also to improve understanding of this little known site. While the moat surrounding the farmhouse may be medieval in origin the other earthworks probably represent a water garden of 17th-century date, though slight traces of both earlier and later features are also visible.
