Furness Abbey: archaeological survey report

In 1989 RCHME undertook an archaeological investigation and analytical field survey of two areas within the precinct at Furness Abbey. The survey recorded quarries, trackways, boundary banks, cultivation remains, building platforms, various minor features and indeterminate remains. These range in date from the medieval to the 20th century.
