ICE HOUSE AT NO.1 BELVEDERE DRIVE, WIMBLEDON London Borough of Merton

Historical information has been sought on this ice house, which has been recently rediscovered. The ice house survives in the rear garden of a grade II listed house. There are currently discussions between English Heritage, the local authority, and the new owners of I Belvedere Drive as to the treatment and future of the building. It has been suggested that the ice house should be considered for statutory listing.
