2 cremations from the ditch surrounding a ploughed-out Bronze Age round barrow, together with fragments of unburnt human bone from a pit just outside the ring ditch, were recovered during excavations in 1985. Inhumed remains of uncertain date representing a minimum of 4 individuals were discovered during the course of gravel extraction in 1984.
