Equipment for the Installation of Experimental Materials at Fiskerton, Lincolnshire

This report describes the equipment and methods of placing samples of experimental materials in the degraded peat proximal to the Iron Age wooden causeway at Fiskerton, Lincolnshire. The samples of metal and of organic materials were buried in December 2003 and selected samples will be extracted at 6 monthly intervals to 18 months and then yearly intervals thereafter.
