West Haven Maltings, Garth Lane, Grimsby: Historic Building Investigation

Author(s): Kathryn Sather and Associates

Haven Maltings, Garth Buildings and Migar House are situated in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. The site consists of the main body of the 19th-century maltings and former grain store (Migar House), with later additions and alterations. Directly to the west of the Maltings is a small late 20th-century structure that is currently occupied by a garage and to the west of this is the Haven Mill site. This report has been undertaken as part of the Grimsby Heritage Action Zone Project (HAZ) to provide an understanding of the evolution of the structures, as a chronological interpretation of the buildings’ development to their current form.
