COURT FARM, WOOKEY, SOMERSET. REPORT ON GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY, MAY 1998

A geophysical survey was carried out over Court Farm, Wookey, Somerset, in order to help clarify the positions of documented medieval buildings and a moat. Magnetometer and resistivity surveys revealed anomalies which strongly suggest the presence of buried archaeological features between the existing buildings and Lower River Axe, and also partially delineated the position of the former moat.
