Further samples of charcoal were identified and included the following genera: Acer sp. (maple), Alnus sp. (alder), Betula sp. (birch), cf. Calluna sp./Erica sp. (heather or ling), Corylus sp. (hazel), Fraxinus sp. (ash), Pomoideae which includes Crateagus sp. (hawthorn), Malus sp. (apple), Pyrus sp. (pear), Sorbus spp. (rowan, whitebeam and wild service tree), Prunus spp., including P.avium (wild cherry), P. padus (bird cherry), P. spinosa (blackthorn), Quercus sp. (oak), cf. Sambucus sp. (elder).
