ASSESSMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL MATERIAL FROM DUCKPOOL, MORWENSTOW, CORNWALL, 1992 CAU EXCAVATIONS

Author(s): C Mortimer

Excavation revealed three hearths (only one part excavated) as well as other features and material. Industrial activity at the site included a small amount of lead and lead-tin melting, but most of the high-temperature debris was non-diagnostic. A single crucible sherd was discovered, which was probably used in copper-alloy melting.
