NON-FERROUS METALWORKING DEBRIS FROM BARKING ABBEY (SITE NUMBER BAAH95), LONDON

Two ceramic fragments related to non-ferrous metalworking were recovered from late Saxon contexts. One piece is a crucible used for melting copper alloy. The other may be either an unusual crucible form or a mould fragment, probably also related to copper-alloy working.
