REPORT ON GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY LITTLEPORT CAMBRIDGESHIRE SEPTEMBER 1992

Author(s): M A Cole

Geophysical survey was undertaken on the roddon of the Old Croft River at Littleport, Cambs, in response to a request from the Fenland Management Project. Saltern sites occur in great density along the roddon; the area in question was of interest both as surviving pasture and because the roddon remains as an earthwork there. The survey results were disappointing, however, providing no geophysical evidence of saltworking.
