Church of St Edward King and Martyr, Clapgun Street, Castle Donington - North West Leicestershire
An early C13 parish church, with aisles widened C14. Restored in 1876-77 by William Smith of the Adelphi, London. The church was subject to heritage crime in 2019. Repairs have been undertaken to address this. The roof to the base of the tower spire is cracked and allowing water in. Rainwater goods are defective and drainage requires attention. The interior is suffering from low level damp.
