Church of St Margaret of Antioch, Main Street, Blackfordby, Ashby-de-la-Zouch - North West Leicestershire

Church, built in 1856-8 by H I Stevens, and prominently sited within the village. It replaced an earlier church, and includes a C18 monument and a fragment of medieval stained glass in the chancel. The nave has a 5-bay hammerbeam roof. The church is suffering from blocked gutters, slipped slates, plant growth to the spire and undersized rainwater goods. The external skin of the west end gable of the nave partially collapsed in early 2020 and is in need of urgent repair.
