Church of St Andrew, Mells - Somerset Council (UA)
Parish church. Predominantly late C15, tower of mid C16, mid C19 restoration. Doulting ashlar; low pitched roofs. Clerestoried nave with north and south aisles, continuing as chapels clasping the chancel and polygonal vestry of 1485. Important fixtures, fittings and furnishings. The church is generally very well maintained but the roofing materials are coming to the end of their lives. The poor condition classification therefore relates to the roof only.
