Church of St Mary, Horse Fair, Banbury - Cherwell

St Mary's Church Banbury is a late C18 classical church with a distinctive tower by S P Cockerell with additions by C R Cockerell 1818-22. Listed Places of Worship Roof Repairs Grant in 2015 implemented in early 2016. Urgent repairs to the east end funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund Grant for Places of Worship have been completed. 2021 Covid 19 Recovery Fund Grant has been used to address problems with the rainwater goods. Further funding for high level stone repairs is still required.
